Acrylic Painting Fundamentals, for Kids, Ages 8 to 12

Build confidence with a paintbrush while learning the fundamentals of acrylic painting. This class introduces young artists to the essential skills they need to create successful paintings, while encouraging creativity, experimentation, and their own emerging artistic style.

Students will learn how to mix colours, use different brushes and brushstrokes, create shape and form, understand light and shadow, build depth, and work with composition. Through guided exercises and painting projects, they'll discover how these techniques come together to take an idea from sketch to finished painting.

The focus is on building real art skills in a fun and supportive environment where kids are encouraged to experiment, ask questions, and make their artwork their own.

Navdeep leads each session with an assistant instructor, so every child gets the individual attention they need to build their skills with confidence. Our structured curriculum is designed so that each class stands on its own, meaning students build on the foundations of acrylic painting whether they drop in once or come every week.

Enrollment Options

• Drop-in class at $45 per class
• A 4-Class Pass is $160, saving you $5 per class. Choose the available class dates that work for your schedule. There’s no need to attend four consecutive weeks. Class passes must be redeemed within 90 days.

Students who shop at our retail store before or after class receive a 10% discount on art supplies.

Class Cancellation and Credit Policy

We understand that life happens, and we'll always do our best to work with you.

Please note that we do not offer refunds on class bookings. Credits are issued as follows:

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the start of class will receive a full credit toward any future class.

• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the start of class will receive a credit equal to 50% of the class value.

• No-shows are not eligible for a credit or refund.

Credits are valid for 6 months from the date of issue and can be applied to any class or workshop at Best Art Co.
