Tri-Art Crackle Ground

A specialty acrylic ground from Tri-Art, one of Canada's leading professional art material manufacturers. Tri-Art Crackle Ground creates a distinctive cracked, aged surface as it dries, adding instant visual texture and depth to your work without any additional tools or techniques.

Apply it to canvas, wood, paper, or other absorbent surfaces and watch the cracks form naturally as the ground dries. The crackle pattern varies with application thickness — thicker applications produce larger, more dramatic cracks, while thinner coats yield finer detail. Paint or ink over the dried surface to make the texture pop.
